Within the protective frame structure, HiboScreen features a porous PU foam based medium that is coated with HiboCare’s proprietary micronised graphite layer. This layer is electrically stimulated and activated using a combination of low voltage current and an electrostatic charge.

The highly conductive and irregular surface of the graphite layer, creates an electrical shield membrane of electrified fibres and the microscopic static discharges.
Any pathogen carrying aerosols passing through the membrane interact with the layer and they either get attracted to the surface and are neutralised, or get charged on exit and are then neutralised after the panel.
The technology is patent protected.

HiboScreen when combined with a cheap, coarse primary filter (MERV8), delivers high efficiency fine filtration (MERV16 equivalent). This opens up possibilities to retrofit existing systems for boosted air filtration.
