the
technology
Clean indoor air has always come at a cost.
Capturing smaller particles means denser filters, higher resistance, and increased energy and maintenance demands. As outdoor air quality worsens, HVAC systems are pushed harder, still relying on decade-old filtration technology.
HiboCare changes the game.
By using Airborne Particle EngineeringTM, we deliver clinical grade air everywhere whilst reducing system energy use.

The mechanism
1
An electric field polarises incoming dust particles, giving them a charge that cause them to attract
2
Polarised particles attract each other and clump together which makes them easier to capture by standard G4/F7 filters
3
Viruses, bacteria, and mould neutralised by electric field
1.electrostatic screen
At the core of HiboCare’s technology is an electrically active screen that polarises airborne particles as air moves through the screen.
Housed in a protective frame, the HiboScreen uses porous polyurethane (PU) foam coated with HiboCare’s micronised graphite. When stimulated with low-voltage current and controlled electrostatic charge, the coating creates a conductive, irregular membrane across the air stream.
2. particle
clumping
As particles pass through the permanent static field, they become polarised.
This alters how particles interact with one another downstream: oppositely charged and polarised particles naturally attract, rotating and bonding on contact. The result is fused particles, where microscopic particles cluster into larger, heavier aggregates.
3. effective filtration
As particles cluster into larger groups, they become much easier to remove. These larger particles can no longer flow cleanly with the air and are more likely to collide with and stick to the fibres of a standard G4 filter.
Even particles that do not fully cluster remain polarised, increasing their chance of being captured on contact. This allows existing G4 filters to remove far more fine particles without increasing filter density or energy use.
