ENGINEERING RESOURCE HUB
The forensic read. Specs, pressure drop, integration.
Every building runs air through filters. What that air needs to do — and what it costs — changes by sector. Lead with the outcome; the proof follows.

MECHANISM, AT DEPTH
Polarisation, clumping, downstream capture.
A micronised-graphite coating on open-cell activated-carbon foam holds a uniform 6 kV field (24 VDC, 50–100 µA) across the full airflow cross-section. Fine particles crossing the field are polarised; polarised particles fuse into larger aggregates; the downstream primary filter captures them.
The screen does not collect particulate and has no separate collection stage — so it does not load or fade. Net single-pass performance with a G4 / MERV 8: equivalent to F9 / MERV 15 / ISO ePM1 85%.
Coating uniformity validated by Scanning Electron Microscopy, University of York.

THE MECHANISM, SIMPLY

PRESSURE DROP
A modest, predictable resistance.
Added pressure drop across the screen as a function of face velocity. Most real AHU installations sit near ~30 Pa.

AHU INTEGRATION
Mounts upstream of the primary filter. Nothing else changes.
